About Us

We’re WaffleFish, a small, family-owned business born from a love of the ocean and a deep desire to protect it. Based on the Sunshine Coast, we are passionate about environmental sustainability and ocean conservation. Our founder, an environmental scientist and former dive master, has spent years under the sea, witnessing the beauty of marine life and the urgent need for action to protect it.

In 2024, we took action to free a humpback whale from Marcoola Sharknets – a life-changing experience that reignited our mission to fight for the ocean. Since then, we’ve been working closely with other ocean conservation advocates, dedicating our efforts to raising awareness and supporting initiatives that protect marine creatures from harmful human impact.

At WaffleFish, every towel purchased helps fund efforts to protect our oceans. We want to create products that not only look great but also make a difference.
